This is a "1st Type" denim jacket crafted by FOB using their newly developed 14oz denim.
The original 14oz selvedge denim is made from American cotton; by incorporating nep yarn into the weft, the fabric achieves a rugged, raw texture—the polar opposite of the clean, uniform denim often seen today.
It is constructed using an original pattern based on the classic "1st Type" design, characterized by a boxy silhouette and a single pocket on the left chest.
While retaining a vintage aesthetic, the jacket incorporates thoughtful details regarding comfort—even in hidden areas—and the construction of the sleeves.
Naturally, features such as original iron buttons, copper rivets, and all-cotton thread stitching ensure it will age beautifully, making it a piece you can cherish for years to come.
