This is a simple 2-way shoulder bag made from Kurashiki-made canvas. The top part uses an open zipper, allowing you to use it in different ways depending on the situation. The team paid attention
to the fabric, using a material that is sturdy canvas yet has a vintage feel.
The handle is made of 4mm thick vegetable-tanned leather from Tochigi Leather, which is used for belts. The materials are combined in a way that they will develop a unique character with use.
The bottom is sewn with two layers of fabric, so even if the canvas deteriorates due to friction, it will not affect the inside.
This is selvedge (with selvage on both sides) canvas woven on an old-fashioned shuttle loom.
The warp threads are opened wide at the top and bottom, and the weft threads are beaten in by the shuttle, creating the selvage on both sides of the fabric that is unique to selvedge canvas. (Selvedge) The weft threads are beaten in at an extremely high density with a reed. By using a shuttle loom, the warp threads are significantly raised, transforming the fabric into a thick material unique to shuttle looms, resulting in a densely aligned and firm surface.
