The leather will age over time, and with exposure to natural light turn a rich shade of tan, as it becomes as individual as the user. About the leather:
Lo Stivale are a small family run Tuscan tannery, who are renowned for producing the highest quality vegetable tanned leathers. They still use ancient Tuscan methods to produce their high quality leathers, which are coveted worldwide. The nature of the tanning process results in a leather that will develop a fine, mellow patina with age and wear. The tannery focusses on sustainability, and waste purification treatment to reduce the environmental impact of the tanning process.
