Wilderness Experience

WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE backpacks began in Chatsworth, California, USA in 1973. Founder Jim Thompson built his career in the early days of outdoor gear development and manufacturing, and after returning from a global pilgrimage, he and his brother Greg started manufacturing outdoor equipment. Development began based on Greg's experiences, and the brand was named "WILDERNESS EXPERIENCE," meaning an experience in the wilderness. Today, in pursuit of the highest quality, all products are manufactured in Japan.
