13.75oz selvedge denim. The history of jeans in Japan begins in the late 1960s. Until then, it was manufactured by importing denim fabric from the United States. It is said that the domestically produced denim fabric was made by remodeling the loom of Btsutyuu Ogura Ori in Ibara City, Okayama Prefecture. At that time, the technique of rope dyeing was scarce, and there was a difference from modern techniques such as thread count, warp and weft balance, but the atmosphere was exceptional. 13.75oz selvedge denim that reproduces the first domestic denim fabric on a modern loom.
